My background in design & event planning allows me to take a multifaceted approach to photography. Every detail is appreciated and documented, every moment captured. Approaching weddings from a fine art perspective, emotion is at the root of my photography. Lover of light, composition and timeless aesthetic means a lush gallery—filled with traditional, creative and emotive imagery. With a focus on telling your story by authentically guiding you though the moments of your day, my greatest goal is capturing how it felt. I recognize that every couple is unique, every wedding day unparalleled. Thus every experience should be tailored as such. You can expect lots of laughter, beauty, joy and happy tears in your experience with EGP.
EGP couples are lovers of details---from the color coordinating of their flat lay items, to the documenting of the way the dress sashays in the sunshine. The personalized cufflinks or late grandfather's watch that the groom is wearing(he forgets to mention it at his getting readys, but rest assured we notice). From the cocktail hour drinks named after your beloved fur-babe, to the capturing of mother quietly wiping her tears during the ceremony. EGP couples care for the finer details.
Typically searching for a photographer that guides and prompts, creating natural moments of candids, and intentional art-directed posing, my couples prefer being put in complimentary light and flattering poses--inherently allowing them to love their photos more as they look their best. Many are looking for someone to transition them from their slight discomfort in front of the camera, to effortless, natural-looking photographs. Photographs that breath movement, as if the photographer snapped a photo of the couple in a genuine moment in passing. Creating a still of the emotion.
And then there are the EGP couples, that love the camera. They've had previous paths or careers of exposure, leaving them innately more comfortable in front of the camera. Both kinds of couples thrive in the EGP environment & experience.
