Athens Georgia Engagement Session
Madison and Eric are the cutest couple! When I first chatted with Madison over zoom, I couldn't help but feel connected to her. As a mother of three, and a preemie Mama x2(which means I've seen my fair share of children in hospitals)I have a special place in my heart for pediatric nurses. Madison works at CHOA Scottish Rite, as an PICU RN, and that is without a doubt, one of the most important jobs in the world. It almost gives me chills to think about what she does everyday, and how important she is to so many families out there. But not only does she work in the PICU, she is also in school to become a pediatric nurse practitioner! Eric is one lucky guy to have a beautiful, driven woman like her! And she's blessed to have a supportive, loving guy like Eric to spend forever with!
The Proposal
This might be my favorite story yet. Mainly because it is SO something I would do! Madison and Eric took a trip to Arizona this past Spring Break after she started Grad school. At first Madison didn't expect a thing, but then as the trip got closer she started to get suspicious. So the night before they left for the trip, she snooped around in his luggage searching for a ring, and came up empty-handed.(100% something I would do haha!) Naturally disappointed, she even texted her mom the next day at the airport telling her how upset she was. A few days into their trip, turns out he did have the ring, and he proposed at the end of a hike, on a beautiful scenic outlook, just the two of them.
Madison & Eric's engagement session was hands down the hottest & most humid of the year. We were pouring sweat, but they were absolute troopers and made the most of it. I can't wait for their May 2024 wedding at The Thompson House and Gardens in Athens!
